Overview
This dry syrup delivers Ampicillin 125 mg and Cloxacillin 125 mg in every 5 ml once reconstituted, the paediatric counterpart of our 500 mg Ampicillin & Cloxacillin capsules. Ampicillin provides broad Gram-positive and Gram-negative cover, while Cloxacillin remains active against penicillinase-producing staphylococci. Each 100 ml amber bottle is supplied with a graduated measuring cup in a printed carton that can carry your own brand.
Indications
Ampicillin with Cloxacillin is commonly prescribed for:
- Respiratory tract infections, including bronchitis and pneumonia
- Skin and soft tissue infections such as cellulitis, boils and abscesses
- Ear, nose and throat infections
- Urinary and gastrointestinal tract infections
