Cefixime for Oral Suspension USP 100 mg/5 ml is the paediatric liquid form of our AFRIXIME range. Cefixime is a third-generation cephalosporin that stays active against many organisms resistant to older antibiotics and needs only once or twice daily dosing, which helps children finish the course. Supplied as a dry powder for reconstitution, each 100 ml amber bottle includes a graduated measuring cup in a printed carton that can carry your own brand.
Indications
Cefixime oral suspension is commonly prescribed for:
- Upper and lower respiratory tract infections, including pharyngitis and bronchitis
- Acute otitis media
- Uncomplicated urinary tract infections
- Typhoid fever and other susceptible enteric infections
