Cefuroxime Axetil for Oral Suspension USP 125 mg/5 ml is the paediatric liquid form of our AFROXIME range. Cefuroxime is a second-generation cephalosporin that resists many of the beta-lactamase enzymes that inactivate penicillins, making it a dependable step up when first-line therapy fails. Supplied as a dry powder for reconstitution, each 70 ml amber bottle includes a graduated measuring cup in a printed carton that can carry your own brand.
Indications
Cefuroxime Axetil oral suspension is commonly prescribed for:
- Upper and lower respiratory tract infections, including tonsillitis and bronchitis
- Acute otitis media and sinusitis
- Urinary tract infections
- Skin and soft tissue infections
