Overview
AFRICOF is a cough syrup for dry, irritating cough. Each 5 ml combines Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10 mg, a cough suppressant, with Bromhexine Hydrochloride 4 mg and Ammonium Chloride 100 mg. It is supplied in a 100 ml bottle with a measuring cup.
Indications
Cough syrups of this type are commonly used for:
- Dry, irritating cough
- Cough associated with colds and upper respiratory tract irritation
- Throat irritation that triggers coughing
