Overview
AFRIORS POWDER is an orange-flavoured oral rehydration salts (ORS) powder based on the WHO formula. Each 27.9 g sachet dissolves in one litre of drinking water to replace the water, salts and glucose lost during diarrhoea, vomiting and heat exhaustion. Boxes hold 25 single-dose foil sachets, making them practical for pharmacy, clinic and relief distribution.
Indications
Oral rehydration salts are used for:
- Prevention and treatment of dehydration caused by acute diarrhoea
- Fluid and electrolyte replacement after vomiting
- Dehydration from excessive sweating and heat exposure
