Overview
AFRIFENAC is a Diclofenac Sodium injection for intramuscular use. Each 3 ml ampoule contains 75 mg of Diclofenac Sodium (25 mg/ml). Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that relieves pain and inflammation, and the injection is used when fast relief is needed.
Indications
Diclofenac injection is commonly used for:
- Acute musculoskeletal pain, including back pain
- Renal and biliary colic
- Post-operative and post-traumatic pain
- Acute flares of gout and arthritis
